„Corona war nur Aufwärmphase” – mit Tom-Oliver Regenauer

9. Feb 20237 Kommentare

Hallo Tom-Oliver Regenauer.

Tom-Oliver Regenauer: Hallo Milena.

Milena Preradovic: Echt?

Tom-Oliver Regenauer: Eben.

Also müssen Strafzahlungen leisten, zum Beispiel.

Kannst du uns da was drüber sagen?

Tom-Oliver Regenauer: Korrekt.

In China zunächst.

Tom-Oliver Regenauer: Genau.

Warum?

Tom-Oliver Regenauer: Ja, gute Frage.

Also alles natürlich friedlich. Ich wünsche euch eine gute Zeit. Bis bald.

Interview with Tom-Oliver Regenauer (english)

Milena Preradovic: Three years of the so-called pandemic and here are some appropriate figures. The richest one percent of the world’s population has collected about 2/3 of the increase in wealth during this time, in Germany even 81%, says the development organization Oxfam. Or even the eight richest people in the world own more wealth than the entire poorer half of the world’s population. A huge redistribution has been going on for years, and not only in terms of money, but also power is focusing to our disadvantage. And in the background plans like the WHO pandemic treaty, digital identity or even further restrictions of freedom of speech are running. The Twitterfiles have shown how social networks work with governments and corporations to suppress unwanted facts. My guest says the last three years were just the warm-up for a decade of tyranny. We’ll talk about that now in point Preradovic. Hello Tom-Oliver Regenauer.

Tom-Oliver Regenauer: Hello Milena.

Milena Preradovic: Good to have you back. Let me introduce you briefly. You’re a journalist, book author, music producer, lyricist and manager. What already as a business manager and management consultant in more than 20 countries on the road run, your own record label, have also already collaborated with artists such as Silo Green. As an author, you write regularly for Rubicon and other critical publications. Last year you published your book “The Elephant in the Room.” Now “Homo Dementia Texts on Turning Times, Technocracy and Corporatism” is out. It’s a hefty tome of 500 highly exciting pages. But let’s talk about the Twitter Files first, because hardly anyone outside of Twitter has noticed them. Critics are talking about the biggest scandal since Watergate. It’s about Twitter censoring critics at the behest of government authorities, deleting them and making them invisible, in other words, putting them in the shadowban. How did this systematic censorship work?

Tom-Oliver Regenauer: Well, I think, for one thing, it’s not the big revelation to me, the issue. It’s very overrated in my opinion, because you see in principle already with Facebook, there was Mark Zuckerberg a few months ago, with Joe Rogan after all the biggest podcast in the world and has also already admitted there that the FBI has given him clear instructions on how to deal with the information regarding Covid and that there is censored and curated the information. So I think that’s a little bit overstated. On the other hand, of course, it’s interesting to see, once again, in black and white detail, what was going on, that there were regular meetings, jour fixe actually, of the Twitter executive suite with FBI and authorities, with the health authority and Fauci’s staff. So it came out very clearly again, the systematic, that these were not just individual incidents, but that there was a programmatic strategic approach to shape the debate space, to cut back, also and in principle to enforce the unity narrative. This has now come out again quite clearly and also the cooperation with Pharma, of course, that Pfizer directly influences information in the public sphere. Of course, that is also telling. Whereby also there who has seen the current Grammy show. At the end after the video comes then sponsored by Pfizer as with a large part of the US news main channels is also sponsored by Pfizer. So the influence is grotesquely large that also the fundraising campaigns for in the presidential elections in America. You can always see that a large part of these donations comes from the pharmaceutical industry. So it is again underlines the influence and documents that again. But I think the discussion is a bit overrated.

Milena Preradovic: Really? Well, I mean, I know it myself. I’ve been deleted myself on all kinds of channels, but I mean, 250,000 names are supposed to have been on this Twitter blacklist. How were they selected? By algorithm or manually?

Tom-Oliver Regenauer: Well, you can see that on the one hand there is of course an algorithm, so a list of words is certainly created technically, which is a blacklist. So whoever posts something in the Covid 19 area, for example, and uses a link there from an unpleasant news organization, in quotes, or from, let’s take Project Veritas, which is on everyone’s lips right now because of this Pfizer incident. Of course, that was technically possible to block certain URLs, addresses, outlets. But you can also see that there was manual intervention. I also learned from Germany that certain people actually received instructions from the Chancellor’s Office or from intelligence services about individuals who either had to be completely blocked on the portal or whose information was to be suppressed. So both and. The masses are certainly intercepted via algorithms and technical possibilities, banning via blacklists and redlists, but a lot of it is just with large influential accounts like I think Donald Trump or Dr. Malone. So people who have a lot of reach and a certain reputation that there was then manual and individual intervention.

Milena Preradovic: But it wasn’t just about Corona, there were also interventions on other topics.

Tom-Oliver Regenauer: That applies to all topics of our time. So I just read a quote from Dr. Malone, who I just mentioned, who calls Twitter not a social media platform, but a weapon, and a weapon to make the debate space, to make the information a weapon. So in principle, this applies to the Ukraine situation just as it does to the issue of climate change, just as it does to the issue of Civid, i.e. everything that has a certain uniform narrative imposed on it from above or where people try to enforce it, these mechanisms are effective. Therefore, as I said, I find that also overrated, because one has already seen in the context of the Facebook admissions of Mark Zuckerberg on the subject of Hunter Biden laptop that there was also massively intervened in the run-up to the U.S. election, in order to influence the eventual result then also the U.S. election. Because without this manipulation around the Hunter Biden laptop and this Biden story probably someone else would have won the election in America.

Milena Preradovic: Yes, it’s quite possible. And there were also these alleged Russian bots, which were supposed to distort the election. But that was also a fake, wasn’t it?

Tom-Oliver Regenauer: It’s certainly not wrong that there are Russian bots, just like there are Chinese bot farms, but there are also European ones. So I guess that exists everywhere. But of course, in this case, it was clearly opinion-forming in America, in order to blame this incident on the evil Russians, in quotation marks. Of course, that played into their hands. One uses that like now also in the Ukraine, are yes also everything the Russians. So just this morning a message read that one makes also now again the Russian Federation there responsible and Putin for the rampant misinformation in the EU, which spreads there on platforms. And practically everything that contradicts the unity narrative is criminal. So you can see that this is criminalized.

Milena Preradovic: In the meantime, Bild has also written. You said yourself that also the German authorities the German government has intervened. You have the Bild has written that the German government representative, the government spokesman Seibert met with the tech companies at that time, but of course without results. But when I have seen what I have been deleted with me already alone, how do we assume that it has gone with us just as in America and perhaps in the whole world has gone so?

Tom-Oliver Regenauer: Yes, I think that’s the case, because we’re also dealing with supranational institutions or organizations. Today, you can no longer look at it on a national level as a nation state. So all these incidents, all these crises, this cacophony of problems that we see in front of us, they are in principle permanently played on, spread and massaged into people’s heads via the same portals. And of course that also applies to censorship or this curation of public space. That takes place internationally. And the fact that the Seibert is meeting with Big Tech and probably also with pharmaceutical representatives, that’s in view of the other incidents in the government with mask deals, etc. is now also not really surprising. This is a global effort. We’re dealing with a global organization. Big Tech doesn’t care about local tax laws or local regulations. We have seen this time and again in recent years.

Milena Preradovic: The new Twitter boss Elon Musk has published these Twitter files. We know from our last interview that you are critical of Elon Musk. So you don’t trust this new transparency?

Tom-Oliver Regenauer: Of course, I think it’s nicer with Elon Musk in the picture than with George Soros or Bill Gates, where you obviously have a certain aversion to the arrogance of the powerful, which I always sense there, and a certain, yes, inhumane attitude. But just that he looks cooler and presents it better doesn’t make it better now in terms of content. I first try not to trust anyone and then form my own opinion.

Milena Preradovic: But at least he called out this transparency and published the Twitterfiles.

Tom-Oliver Regenauer: Yes, he also tweeted, I think it was yesterday, that in the future Twitter should no longer be a place where a uniform opinion is forced through from above, as has been the case up to now, but that it should be a place for different opinions. But you can see that accounts are still blocked, which have nothing to do with anything, legally nothing justiciable, are still blocked. And then of course it is said that Twitter is a private organization, can make use of house rules. All well and good, but if I present myself as the messiah of libertarianism and say that there is freedom of expression, then for me it’s a 1-0 decision. That is, either everything is allowed or there is interference, and the second is not freedom of expression. So from there, I think it’s overrated and I don’t trust Elon Musk in that respect because he’s just very much and you can see that in our last conversation or in the article that I wrote about it, because he has a great closeness to the state, to the Pentagon, to services, to intelligence services, CIA, FBI and that’s not to be denied, that’s also what the US mainstream media writes.

Milena Preradovic: In your book you write a lot of things that many people see differently, and you also call, for example, Klaus Schwab’s WEF basically a smokescreen. You say that this is middle management, this Davos clique. If that’s the case, then where does the real power sit?

Tom-Oliver Regenauer: Yes, I was also criticized last week.

Milena Preradovic: I’m just asking.

Tom-Oliver Regenauer: No, but I just mean that there were also voices from the critical corner that said: “Yes, that’s defeatism, if you don’t put it in context. Now, of course, I have to say that I work in management consulting, so I see a lot of large corporations from the inside and when I see the. You say global governance or as with companies you say corporate governance and global governance, so I look at the organizational structure of our supranational socio-economy and compare that with a corporation, then the WEF is just the marketing department. In principle, they do what change management does in a corporation. In other words, if I have a rationing project in a large multinational corporation and have to reduce my workforce because there is cost pressure, then I do a change management project and sell it internally in such a way that the employees like it. So I try to present it in a positive light. And the WEF does the same thing in principle. It presents positively what is to be imposed on us, i.e. the transformation processes of the turn of the millennium, the green economy. “Very important is meatless living, less individual mobility.” That’s what we’re being sold through this vehicle, the World Economic Forum, and what else they’re doing.

Tom-Oliver Regenauer: The second thing is you do recruitment, so these 3800 Global Young Global Leaders that exist, they undoubtedly have an impact on the world. And they have undoubtedly, as Schwab says it himself, penetrated cabinets. On the other hand, what the change management department does in a corporation is to train change agents. These are individuals who initiate the change process from below. And I don’t see the German federal government as the top management in a corporate group; I see it as the middle management level, because in principle we have long seen that the major strategic changes of direction, the major decisions, come from a corporatist group. And that is actually an intergrown system of corporations, military industrial complex, financial industry and governments. It is almost impossible to separate them. You can see that it’s also a revolving door. People move from there to there and are once in the government, then in the corporation and then back again. This is especially grotesque in the USA, where many FBI employees now work in the mainstream media and are responsible for fact-checks.

Milena Preradovic: Yes, it’s crazy. Maybe they are smarter than our fact checkers, but anyway. You say that it’s like in the revolving door, people change. But what I also take from your book, the Rockefeller family stays. Yes.

Tom-Oliver Regenauer: Exactly.

Milena Preradovic: And you quote from the memoirs of the banker David Rockefeller. It says, and I quote, “Some believe we are part of a secret nexus working against the best interests of the United States. They characterize my family and me as internationalists and claim that we have conspired with others worldwide to establish a globally integrated political economic structure. If that is the charge, I plead guilty, and I am proud of it.” Yeah, that’s actually pretty obvious. What’s the goal there?

Tom-Oliver Regenauer: Exactly. And maybe that answers your previous question about the World Economic Forum. I call the WEF a smoke candle because it is very present in the media. Now other people have written to me that it is not present at all on ARD and ZDF, they don’t hear anything about it. Yes, that may be. But media presence also means in the new media. And they are full of World Economic Forum. There are current books about it, where the WEF is described as a world power and it is highly present in the media. And it’s a smokescreen because, of course, the attention economy ensures that we all look at it. So whoever is out and about in the mainstream world now, because you look with the traditional media, maybe somewhere else, they pick up these, these messages. And those who are out and about in the new media, however, are permanently looking at WEF or Pfizergate and all these things or at the Twitter files. But in the end, it makes sure that it absorbs attention and that’s why nobody looks where they should actually look. And those are organizations like the Wellcome Trust or the Rockefeller Foundation, which have been around for over 100 years and where even The Lancet, which is I think the most respected medical publication in the world, itself writes that there is no one that has had such an impact on global health policy in the last 100 years as the Rockefeller Foundation. They’re so powerful and so extensive across the planet with their sub-organizations. So they’ve sponsored universities, of course, in education, they’ve sponsored all kinds of things in science. The Rockefeller Foundation’s influence is unbelievably huge. It’s insane and nobody is addressing that. That would actually be an organization to look at, just like the Wellcome Trust. So there are quite a few organizations that the WEF distracts from.

Milena Preradovic: Yes, so we will come to the Wellcome Trust later. But what is the goal in the end? A global world government, limited freedom of people and a lot of money? Or what is the goal?

Tom-Oliver Regenauer: Well, that’s two. So one is goal and the other is motivation. So I think the motivation of the powerful is power. So power is addictive and greed probably is too. So you can never have enough money. That’s certainly the basic motivation. And of course, thirdly, I think they have a kind of self-image that “we are the elected. We should rule over the planet.” Now, of course, one must not see the whole thing in this clumsy old idea of: there are older gentlemen sitting in the back room and ruling the world and making a world conspiracy here. That is nonsense, of course. We live in a corporatist world, which means an association of different circles, something like the Rockefeller Foundation, the Wellcome Trust, the World Economic Forum, also because it has a role there. But also an organization like Twitter or the federal government or Facebook all play their role there. And it is not about the establishment of this singular world government, but about what already in 1930 Bertrand Russell described in his book “Social Reconstruction” about the establishment of a prescriptive state, a collectivist global prescriptive state. And for that, nobody has to be the single person who has the power. It doesn’t have to be a single government or organization that calls itself a world government, because we already see that we are governed globally through an organization like the WHO, which practically puts itself above any national law, without us ever having voted for it or voted for it as a sovereign or as a democracy.

Milena Preradovic: Yes, the WHO is planning now, or it is supposed to come soon. A new pandemic law. That should be signed by all states on this earth. Last year, a few countries still resisted. I am now curious whether all sign. What would this pandemic treaty mean in the end?

Tom-Oliver Regenauer: Exactly. This is a very good example of how little influence we have at the national level. Because the pandemic treaty would ultimately mean that all member states of the WHO would have to submit to these regulations. But nobody voted for this, neither in Germany nor in the USA nor anywhere else. So it was a small group of specialists or science or experts who decided to structure this pandemic treaty under the influence of such organizations as Rockefeller and Rockefeller Foundation or Wellcome Trust. And it ends up being a binding rule, a binding set of international rules that everybody has to abide by. And it would mean that if somebody in the WHO in Geneva declares lockdown, that nation states would have to abide by it, and if they don’t, they will be financially penalized. So they have to pay penalties, for example.

Milena Preradovic: Ah yes, and these are probably all things that should not be talked about so much now, as we are doing now. What is happening in the area of restriction of freedom of expression? There are still a few things going on.

Tom-Oliver Regenauer: Unfortunately, there are a lot of things going on. Yes, so one has already last August 22, the UN has already the misinformation literally quote “declared war”. So I find that a questionable formulation, when the UN says it declares war on misinformation and that was, as I said, I think in August last year and currently there are again new efforts on the part of the UN. It has recently stated again, just now, that we have to fight misinformation. And there are also new activities at the European level. We already had the Network Enforcement Act, which is being used for the current blocking of Twitter, etc., in our country. And there is now a new bill at the European level to enforce the whole thing at the European level. In other words, at some point it will come down to mandatory identification on the Internet. So I have to identify myself and everything that does not contradict the unified opinion will either automatically or then by certain bodies will probably be suppressed. After a certain point.

Milena Preradovic: So you think it will get worse, that critical voices will be completely shut down in the long run?

Tom-Oliver Regenauer: I think it boils down to that. It goes in the direction of the Orwellian memory hole, so information that is not welcome, that does not fit into the official narrative, will not be findable on the Internet, is of course in sum not all deletable and removable, it will still be there, but those who are not familiar with the Internet will simply not find it anymore. You can see this in the example of climate change and Google. If you type the word climate change into Google, you get to page 39 and it says you have millions of results. But on page 39 the Internet is finished at Google and displayed to me plus minus 350 links all from official bodies. So I don’t find any counterstatements, counterinformation, critical consideration of this narrative, although science is actually a method that should bring all, that is, all parties to the table and make them heard, that in consensus a solution emerges. But that’s just not where we are. We see that it’s dogma, specifically climate change. And Google is a very good example, you really can’t find anything there. So if you are not familiar with it, if you work with an alternative search engine, you won’t find anything critical there.

Milena Preradovic: Which one would you recommend?

Tom-Oliver Regenauer: Actually, the only one that actually works is PreSearch. Presearch is a decentralized search engine, which means that it doesn’t run on servers, i.e. on a large cabinet where the or computer is located, like all other search engines. That means I can’t intervene directly either, it runs. It runs decentrally on individual computers. So you and I provide the computing power of the computer and that takes Research to have computing power and search and really license nothing. And then there’s MetaCrawler.com. So that’s also a search engine, you can just search the web for data without any algorithms interfering. All the others, including DuckDuckGO, which is very well known in the critical scene, also published a press release last year at the beginning of the Ukraine conflict, saying that misinformation was now getting out of hand and that it was now necessary to intervene with censorship as far as Ukraine was concerned. And then I took a look at the financing, and you can see that DuckDuckGO is also financed by the Canadian pension fund, and that is not necessarily a very critical organization. So I recommend Presearch and Meta Crawler.

Milena Preradovic: Thanks for the tip. Now we have three years of Corona behind us. Right now, it seems like history now and people think we’re past that now. On the other hand, countries and WHO are working on a global digital immunization record. The G20 said in Bali that they would take this as a prerequisite for free travel. That means that anyone who doesn’t comply will probably no longer be able to travel freely if they don’t get vaccinated. But that actually implies that there will be another pandemic soon, otherwise that wouldn’t make much sense, would it? Or how do you see it?

Tom-Oliver Regenauer: I think that could be the case. I don’t want to go out on a limb here. There are, of course, planning games for for further pandemics. I don’t think I remember what the name was, I’ve forgotten, but there was currently another simulation. And I I could imagine that at some point somehow another pandemic will be declared. That’s quite possible, but I think the real background for that is just building this technocratic digital surveillance structure.

Milena Preradovic: That we definitely have such a digital vaccination passport, which means that you could also put everything else on it?

Tom-Oliver Regenauer: I think it’s also platform-independent. Of course, it could also run in parallel. So if, for example, Twitter was one of Elon Musk’s plans, yes, he would like to verify real people on the platform. We’ll have to see what that looks like, but it could well be that there’s an ID requirement or at least you can see with this Twitterblue, but you have to give your phone number and have it verified. That in turn can be traced back to the person via the provider. So in principle, this is an identification requirement if I want this blue check mark. So if I introduce this on the platform in general and then have parallel systems like a Covid Pass that allows me to travel or a PayPal app that basically manages my financial transactions. Or maybe a shopping app that I can use to scan my products at the supermarket. All of that already exists. So in the sum of the apps, there doesn’t have to be this one fatal government Big Brother app, but it’s enough if there are 5,6,10 apps on your phone, on your smartphone, that merge the data at the end. And then you are 100% transparent and can be controlled from the outside, or your movement radius can be restricted and your information that is available to you and also your financial possibilities, as you saw in Canada, with the Canadian trucker protests, where then suddenly the accounts of all those who participated in the protest were blocked. So people always imagine, to come back to the topic, “there’s this evil big world government or there’s this evil one Big Brother app,” it’s not like that. We live in a very complex system, but in the sum of the components, it is already in principle the Big Brother that Orwell had always warned about.

Milena Preradovic: Yes, and what I read on your site is that, amazingly, Ukraine has announced that it will link an app with a digital identity and a universal basic income. It’s already reminiscent of China’s social credit system. It’s strange that a country at war has leisure for that, isn’t it?

Tom-Oliver Regenauer: Yes, and also that the WEF is so committed to cooperating with Ukraine and that even the commander of this Azov battalion or a senior member of this Azov battalion was invited to the WEF and a Swiss newspaper then interviewed him and asked: “Yes, that’s controversial in the Azov regiment, there are so many swastika tattoos. And then he answered, “Yes, but that is the Ukrainian way of irony, to deal with the Russian enemy, because one would always be called a Nazi by the Russians. That’s why so many have tattoos.” When asked why these are already pictures from 2014 and 15, where the tattoos are already there, he then no longer answered. But it’s grotesque, and you can see that Ukraine is being abused by the EU, on the one hand, and especially by the U.S., or by NATO, in order to smack Russia around and to fuel this geopolitical conflict or this strategic conflict or to weaken Russia. And on the other hand, I believe that Ukraine is also, as you say, in terms of censorship, synchronization of the opposition and the media, which in principle is already very advanced and with the introduction of this, I think DIA app was the name of the thing, which is also already live, so it already exists, it’s running, that you’re already very close to the social credit scoring, which you had in China.

Milena Preradovic: Yes also such a crazy thing. In 2014, 2015, there were still critical reports about the Azov Regiment, about possible Nazis in the Ukrainian government. There are no more now. At that time there were also critical reports about Bill Gates. There are no more either. He’s basically a philanthropist now, he’s celebrated in our country. Yes, but to classify him again: In India, Gates and his foundation are seen through completely different eyes. Can you tell us something about that?

Tom-Oliver Regenauer: Yes, in Africa, too, so in India, of course, it’s currently a topic again because of the Covid crisis. But all in all, Gates actually only has a halfway good reputation in the media in the value West, as they say. In Africa, there have already been many vaccination campaigns that he carried out in the early 2000s. And people have died, thousands of people. Various human rights organizations have officially labeled this as human experimentation. There were lawsuits against the Gates Foundation, so in Africa, India and the less developed countries, the opinion is quite different to Mr. Gates, especially because the people there feel like guinea pigs and they have obviously tested new drugs on a grand scale and many people came to harm, are disabled, died. So there is a very dark story, which is of course now no longer present in the media, but if you just search, then you will find just in the period up to 2016/17 before that quite numerous articles in mainstream media, as well, which describe this procedure. And it is insane how many people were harmed in the past.

Milena Preradovic: I mean, if you google Pfizer, you will also find a lot of procedures with a lot of dead people.

Tom-Oliver Regenauer: This is the company with the most lawsuits and the highest compensation payments in history. Madness.

Milena Preradovic: Interesting is yes also in all these things that are supposed to come. So basically apps are supposed to come, digital identity, the digital passport, that together with the vaccination card, digital money and that all reminds of China, of this social credit system. And you write that the U.S. has been supporting this system in China for decades and that is without the support of the U.S. probably not even Mao in its form or the communist government under Mao would have existed. That’s already hard to believe. So capitalist Urland is promoting communist China?

Tom-Oliver Regenauer: Correct. So starting with the facts, it’s actually that Yale University on their own website in the archives describes Mao Zedong as an alumni or alumnus because he had the…

Milena Preradovic: Is kind of like an apprentice to be promoted or how can you translate that?

Tom-Oliver Regenauer: An affiliated, so valuable member of the extended community or something and Yale University is like many others in the U.S. is an elite university that has great influence on education as a whole and also on politics because many presidents, graduates of this school are appointed in high offices in the U.S. and have corresponding influence. And in the 70s, the connection between China and the US was very close. So for one thing, Yale supported Mao Zedong’s first bookstores and made sure that Mao Tse tung became the head of a student magazine in China, which he then used for “thought-reorientation,” which was his program, so thought-restructuring. Without this beginning, financed by Yale University, Mao Zedong would never have ended up in this student magazine, would never have been able to take over the editorship there, and would not have become a well-known person afterwards with first one two and then three bookstores. In China, at first. And then he rose to become a great leader. And that was always accompanied by a very great closeness with Henry Kissinger, who in turn is the closest associate, of David Rockefeller or was for decades, half a century. So Henry Kissinger started as a young man, Harvard graduate at the Council on Foreign Relations, a U.S. think tank that still exists today, very influential. There Kissinger was in a key role and the two of them, there, there was, Rockefeller sponsor and Kissinger in a key role and then the two of them got along very well and from then on until the end of David Rockefeller’s life, David Rockefeller was Kissinger’s closest confidant and basically promoted his agenda for him in the US government.

Tom-Oliver Regenauer: And that included just the development of China and the laws at that time when Nixon was president, Richard Nixon. He was visiting China with Kissinger and Mao Zedong and the laws would not even have allowed US companies to deliver material there or to build up companies, to make know-how transfers. And yet, and this is in the article that I wrote about it, so everything is listed and the sources for it, have invested millions and billions, the U.S. in China, just to build up the infrastructure there, which has actually laid the foundation for what China is today. And it was clear with the announcement, as you have just read the quote from Rockefeller with the ulterior motive that one just a global, collectivist, supranational state and state not in the sense of national borders, but just in the form of prescription state, as we see it for example WHO now. That was their vision and they used China for that purpose, and that is actually very clearly traceable in this text via the sources. And that Mao Zedong as one of the biggest mass murderers in the world is proudly described as an alumnus on the Yale University website is quite outrageous. Until today it is so…

Milena Preradovic: Yes, and you write that the US also helped to develop this social credit system, so also technically. Does that mean that China is the experiment for this Social Credits System? An example for the world?

Tom-Oliver Regenauer: Exactly. So the big data companies, IT, Microsoft, all the big players have been transferring know-how to the Middle Kingdom from the very beginning, as the saying goes, and that was partly illegal, but the law in the U.S. does not even allow know-how to be transferred. And they helped to build up the industrial infrastructure in the 70s and 80s. And when the Chinese had practically reached the point where they were also a player in the global economy and had achieved economic success, they shifted their focus to building up the IT side and the digital infrastructure that we see in China today. So it’s a technocracy, the only one in the world right now, as we confirmed the technocracy movement from the U.S. in an interview the other day that I talked to. Representatives of the real technocracy movement, they confirmed it themselves, is a technocracy the only one in the world. But it is the evil form of the technocracy, they say, because it is really used to control the population on a micro level. So if the technology doesn’t want you to buy food, the supermarket is closed or the car doesn’t drive anymore or a drone follows you and says you should go home, that’s already…

Milena Preradovic: You’re assuming that that’s actually the plan for the rest of the world as well, right?

Tom-Oliver Regenauer: Yes, that’s at least a sandbox, as they say in IT. It’s a playground where I can try things out, where I can develop concepts. And if they are then viable, I transport them to the next level, the systems. That’s how it’s done in IT, and I think that China, as evidenced by statements by Brzeziński, Kissinger, Rockefeller, and various other incredibly influential people, suggests that this was done deliberately in order to build up a sandbox, a role model, a dummy in China, which can later be rolled out globally.

Milena Preradovic: Yeah, the future looks a bit dystopian anyway, listening to the long-time chief scientist at NASA, Dennis Baschnell, so as you write, a thought leader in his field. How does he outline the future that awaits us?

Tom-Oliver Regenauer: Yes, that’s also a very crucial and exciting figure, Dennis Bushnell. But he’s been at NASA since the Apollo and Gemini days, and nobody knows him. He is actually and in comparison to Yuval Noah Harari, who many people know by now, from the WEF, he is much worse, if one may say so in quotation marks. The lectures of Mr. Bushnell and the ideas of Mr. Bushnell go far beyond what Harari tells for the WEF in terms of transhumanism. So on YouTube you can find one or two lectures by Bushnell and there is also a Wikipedia entry and a very exciting presentation from the year 2001 by NASA, which for example projected the beginning of genetic warfare to 2020 in the year 2001. And the singularity and the rule of the machines to the year 2030. And this presentation of NASA is enlightening in that respect, because NASA, I think we already had this last time, is 80% about military research. And if you look at the presentation again, you can see that military research is focused on the enemy within, so it’s not about global conflict or war with China or bigger nukes. It’s about sonic weapons, it’s about psychological warfare, it’s about information, warfare and so-called, that’s Bushnell’s favorite terminology, favorite term is trojan horse civilian systems that are rolled out as Trojan horses. And by that he means social media portals. By that he means vaccination campaigns. By that he means additives in food. So this presentation is verified by NASA and deals with how to fight your own population. It is grotesque. And that’s why it would be more important that people just don’t read Harari and his weird and rightly criticized and disturbing books and lectures. But people could take a look at Dennis Bushnell. The human being is much, much worse on the way and above all much longer in the game, as one says. He’s been at NASA since Apollo and Gemini, as I said, and has been influencing these strategic developments for 50 years, and with a lot of weight probably in the background.

Milena Preradovic: Yes, and nobody knows him. You just talked about Trojan horses. Are the NGOs also part of that? The non-governmental organizations that we usually associate with something positive like Greenpeace, WWF, they do something for nature, or something? Are they also Trojan horses?

Tom-Oliver Regenauer: Yes, of course the term Trojan horse is always a bit worn out. But of course what I said earlier, this network, you could call it, well I always call it corporatism, it’s a network of governments, corporations and other bodies that exert influence. And that of course includes NGOs, because they are in the biggest case. In most cases, they are relatively non-transparent. Nobody looks closely at where the money comes from such an NGO. You can see that also with these climate protests.

Milena Preradovic: Often governments for non-governmental organizations, also in Germany…

Tom-Oliver Regenauer: Exactly that comes either from governments or then from the people who, as in the climate movement, grotesquely pollute the environment the most with their corporations, who then finance these NGOs that then whip through the Green Economy and organize sit-in blockades in the streets. So that’s why ngos are a very big part of this network, because the system that we’re going to see in the future, or actually already see now, is a system that no longer knows any responsibilities. Responsibility is delegated away until no one is responsible in person. In the past, it was the prince in the castle who was responsible. If you weren’t satisfied with him, you went there and strung him up, and then a new prince took over. Then it was the chancellor or the chancellor, who was responsible, who was voted out. Today there is, one can vote out the chancellor, but it changes nothing whether a Petros in the WHO issues new regulations and 190 plus states sign and that is valid then. So that’s a faceless empire, I always say, with no accountability. And the NGOs are a big part of that. And if you consider that only in Geneva, I think 750 NGOs are located in one city, then you can think about how long you would need to research all the financial implications and influence. And at the end of the day, it’s about criminology, because that’s corruption, it’s corruption and organized crime. You have to follow the money, it’s like a criminal case. So my point is not to blacken people or to draw the bogeyman on the wall or to say that the WEF is unimportant, but you have to look at it holistically. And that’s where you actually have to proceed like a criminalist and mostly follow the money. And that’s always very interesting where you end up.

Milena Preradovic: Exactly, somehow you also stay with that topic. You also dealt with the German Ethics Council and its head Alena Buyx and now we come to the Wellcome Trust from before. She has long-standing connections to the Wellcome Trust, she used to work there and is said to have received funding even now. At least that’s what Die Welt writes. Ms. Buyx herself denies having received money from the Wellcome Trust. So, now you find this connection in general absolutely unethical. Why? What is so special about the Wellcome Trust?

Tom-Oliver Regenauer: Well, the Wellcome Trust itself is a very influential organization, founded by Henry Wellcome, so it has nothing to do with welcome, but with the last name of the founder. And the good Henry Wellcome was already, that was also just under 100 years ago, was in the same clique of eugenics fans like George Bernard Shaw or Bertrand Russell, who all spoke out at that time for the breeding of humans, optimization of breeding, that is, for what the Nazis later tried to do in Germany, by wanting to exterminate one race and optimize the other, breed the master race. These are thoughts that Bertrand Russell or George Bernard Shaw and Henry Wellcome also pursued, and the cooperation of Henry Wellcome’s Wellcome Trust with organizations like the Galton Institute, which is now called the Galton Institute, used to be called the British Eugenics Society, was very close. From the 60s and 70s onwards, these names were changed and the Journal for Bio Social Science, for example, which still exists today, was called The Eugenics Review until I think 1963. And there are many examples of how this eugenics movement was renamed bioethics, bio-social research, and how the Wellcome Trust, not only at Covid, also at the WHO, exerts influence, when the long-time, I think 15 years, staff member for research in Asia at the Wellcome Trust, he is now chief scientist of the WHO. He became a really important, crucial figure in the Wellcome Trust just a couple of weeks ago, became WHO chief scientist now. I think even for pandemic issues or for vaccination issues, have to check again exactly. But the Wellcome Trust’s links to the pharmaceutical industry are incredibly deep, are very opaque, and are largely based on eugenics and on race and race theory and breeding ideas.

Milena Preradovic: And I think the eugenicists also divide life into valuable or non-valuable life, don’t they?

Tom-Oliver Regenauer: Yes, there are quite, so there are videos, even old black and white videos of George Bernard Shaw, who just on the question of how you want to enforce it, such a society explains that you should summon people every five years before such a council, before some kind of committee, where they have to justify their existence. And in case that is not the case, then you have bad cards. And what is also very interesting is that in Canada the last few years eugenics-like euthanasia laws have been passed. So you are allowed to kill yourself there at state expense. That is also gladly promoted.

Milena Preradovic: But if you want to kill yourself, that’s something else.

Tom-Oliver Regenauer: Yes, but there are homeless people, for example, there are several cases of homeless people who can no longer feed themselves, who are tired of living on the streets, these are simply poor people. And instead of helping these poor people out of trouble with a few $1,000 and making sure that they can lead an integrated life again, i.e. lead a normal life, a life worthy of a human being, they are then told, “Well, they can have themselves killed here, it costs nothing and then they get their sleeping injections here”. Even the New York Post, in an editorial, gave these laws in Canada an echo from the Nazi era. Quote Headline: “An Echo from the Nazi Era, Canada’s New Euthanasia Laws.” That’s what the New York Post wrote a few months ago. This is madness.

Milena Preradovic: With you, I also still read that Kissinger said that the old are useless eaters in this context.

Tom-Oliver Regenauer: That has often been quoted. He literally said that. He also said that the U.S. has no real friends and allies, only interests. That also says a lot in terms of war.

Milena Preradovic: Hm hm. That is, I had sort of located these eugenics, euthanasia programs in the 20th century. But that means they’re as fresh today as ever or even fresher?

Tom-Oliver Regenauer: Yes, most people think that this came from Germany. This, this whole Nazi thing, Hitler and anti-Semitism. But actually the eugenics movement is a movement that originated in Great Britain, or at least was professionalized there. It started around the 1880s. There were various organizations like this Fabian Society, where Bertrand Russell was also a member and many other influential people. They were open and that was very much in vogue. That was a big movement. They were very open to the optimization of breeding and to the creation of a master race, a senior race, and a slave race, a working class, which would also be genetically inferior accordingly. Various people spoke out for this and there were eugenics journals, congresses. The last eugenics congress was held in Zurich, in the most expensive hotel in Switzerland. That was shortly before the Second World War. So then it came into disrepute, because of Hitler and so on. But actually it is an idea of the British, and they also had the first concentration camps, namely in Africa. The British already had concentration camps there, 40, 50 years before Hitler opened his first camp. That’s why I always say, this distraction by WEF and these current things that we see, they distract from the fact that one looks at the thing in the historical context. And in the historical context are Rockefeller Foundation, the Wellcome Trust and its founding history or organizations like the Galton Institute or journals like the Eugenics Review, which still exists today, it’s just called differently. Or in America, the Population Council, which used to be called the Bureau for US Eugenics or something. So there were, in all countries there were eugenics offices and a big movement. It was just renamed at some point and it’s not out of fashion in any way. It is still the thinking of the rulers.

Milena Preradovic: Yes of the rulers who see themselves as the elite. Otherwise, of course, they wouldn’t be so in favor of such a program.

Tom-Oliver Regenauer: And they don’t keep quiet about it. There are also books currently about the elite, also from the elite. One is called “The Super Class. It’s a bit older by Rothbard, who is himself part of the top few thousand in America, a billionaire, and describes with a certain arrogance, just like David Rockefeller and consorts, that they see themselves as the ruling class and that they are proud of it. And as he writes himself, if that is the accusation, then yes, I know myself guilty and proud of it.

Milena Preradovic: Yeah great. So these are already dystopian times, especially reading your book with these texts. But amazingly, you’re still kind of an optimist. You also see a chance. So you see an opportunity for a new, more humane system. What could that be? And above all, how do we get there now?

Tom-Oliver Regenauer: Yes, good question. Yes, I think that historically, civilization has just never been a moment in human history, because of the Internet and the global nature, these crises and this approach. There’s never been a moment in human history when so many people in parallel around the world at the same time have realized what they’re being governed by. So it has never been more obvious how arrogantly certain circles would like to rise above the normal human being, above the normal citizen and impose transformation processes on us, which in the end are to the disadvantage of all. So that’s why I always plead, and I think this will happen at some point, for people to stop following this dialectic of polarization. So left versus right, mask fan versus mask critic, these are all just divisive. In the end, it’s always about up and down, and we have to deal with it on our level, across parties and across spectrums, so that we determine and shape the changes, because otherwise, as most times in human history, we’re going to get them put in front of us by someone else. And that has always been to the disadvantage of civilization. That’s why I think this is a great opportunity. Because as I said, never before have so many people been aware of what’s happening at the same time. And I don’t think there have ever been so many people at the same time disappointed or critical of their government representatives, of NGOs, and of mass media, for example, that are obviously trying to manipulate them and push them in one direction instead of reporting objectively. That’s why I see it as an opportunity. And how do we get there?

Tom-Oliver Regenauer: And how to get there. I think it’s just self-empowerment. I don’t believe that any thoughts of revolution will get you anywhere, because a revolution always just creates a power vacuum at the top. That is then filled with another portion of hot air. In the end, you usually get nothing from the revolution except the new power bloc. So I think this time it’s really about decentralized organization at the lower level. So when I start doing business with you, in communication, when I found an association with people or say I’m going to offer something on the village square on Saturdays or I look for opportunities in the community to exert influence in small circles so that the effects are directly visible. I build decentralized IT structures with others and move away from some big tech platform. I think it’s simply self-empowerment, because in the end you probably don’t have to tear down these ruins of the old system, but simply do something in parallel that’s more attractive, that’s more beautiful, that’s fun, that’s enjoying life. And I think that at some point people will automatically get there, if they are annoyed enough and disappointed enough or dispossessed enough by the other side and then think okay, I’ve had enough, I’m going to take a look at what these, what these other people are doing with the people.

Milena Preradovic: The funny one laughing all day long, with this big joint in her mouth.

Tom-Oliver Regenauer: Yeah, or they just go on vacation or eat meat or I don’t know. Who don’t let themselves be frightened, because what you are not allowed to do under any circumstances is to fall for this fear narrative and this polarization dialectic. And as I just wrote this morning, you should listen to more music. So music is positive conditioning from within. And every minute you listen to music, you don’t have time to be afraid or to be manipulated from the outside. So it’s better to occupy yourself with a book, a guitar, your music and enjoy life and do what you should be doing for its own sake. I think that is the real revolution.

Milena Preradovic: I couldn’t have imagined a nicer closing. Thank you very much Tom, for this very enlightening conversation. Also for your book. I can really recommend it. Thank you very much!

Tom-Oliver Regenauer: Thank you very much for the invitation.

Milena Preradovic: Well, guys, what’s coming up? I personally think it would be worse without the brave critics, without the brave walkers and also without the alternative media. We would have the vaccination obligation then probably fixed. So to all those who believe that it brings nothing anyway: But it brings something. It disturbs powerful plans and informs the people. Who does not want to be determined by others in the future, has no choice but to rebel against it, or as Tom says, simply to lead an alternative, a different life. So all peaceful, of course. I wish you a good time. See you soon.

Geoffrey Miller Evolutionary psychologist, NYU Stern Business School and University of New Mexico; Chinese Eugenics China has been running the world’s largest and most successful eugenics program for more than thirty years, driving China’s ever-faster rise as the global superpower. I worry that this poses some existential threat to Western civilization. Yet the most likely result is that America and Europe linger around a few hundred more years as also-rans on the worldhistorical stage, nursing our antihereditarian political correctness to the bitter end. When I learned about Chinese eugenics this summer, I was astonished that its population policies had received so little attention. China makes no secret of its eugenic ambitions, in either its cultural history or its government policies. For generations, Chinese intellectuals have emphasized close ties between the state (guojia), the nation (minzu), the population (renkou), the Han race (zhongzu), and, more recently, the Chinese gene-pool (jiyinku). Traditional Chinese medicine focused on preventing birth defects, promoting maternal health and “fetal education” (taijiao) during pregnancy, and nourishing the father’s semen (yangjing) and mother’s blood (pingxue) to produce bright, healthy babies (see Frank Dikötter’s book Imperfect Conceptions). Many scientists and reformers of Republican China (1912-1949) were ardent Darwinians and Galtonians. They worried about racial extinction (miezhong) and “the science of deformed fetuses” (jitaixue), and saw eugenics as a way to restore China’s rightful place as the world’s leading civilization after a century of humiliation by European colonialism. The Communist revolution kept these eugenic ideals from having much policy impact for a few decades though. Mao Zedong was too obsessed with promoting military and manufacturing power, and too terrified of peasant revolt, to interfere with traditional Chinese reproductive practices. But then Deng Xiaoping took power after Mao’s death. Deng had long understood that China would succeed only if the Communist Party shifted its attention from economic policy to population policy. He liberalized markets, but implemented the one-child policy —partly to curtail China’s population explosion, but also to reduce dysgenic fertility among rural peasants. Throughout the 1980s, Chinese propaganda urges couples to have children “later, longer, fewer, better”—
at a later age, with a longer interval between birth, resulting in fewer children of higher quality. With the 1995 Maternal and Infant Health Law (known as the Eugenic Law until Western opposition forced a name change), China forbade people carrying heritable mental or physical disorders from marrying, and promoted mass prenatal ultrasound testing for birth defects. Deng also encouraged assortative mating through promoting urbanization and higher education, so bright, hardworking young people could meet each other more easily, increasing the proportion of children who would be at the upper extremes of intelligence and conscientiousness. One of Deng’s legacies is China’s current strategy of maximizing “Comprehensive National Power”. This includes economic power (GDP, natural resources, energy, manufacturing, infrastructure, owning America’s national debt), military power (cyberwarfare, anti-aircraftcarrier ballistic missiles, anti-satellite missiles), and ‘soft power’ (cultural prestige, the Beijing Olympics, tourism, Chinese films and contemporary art, Confucius Institutes, Shanghai’s skyscrapers). But crucially, Comprehensive National Power also includes “biopower”: creating the world’s highest-quality human capital in terms of the Chinese population’s genes, health, and education (see Governing China’s Population by Susan Greenhalgh and Edwin Winkler). Chinese biopower has ancient roots in the concept of “yousheng” (“good birth”—which has the same literal meaning as “eugenics”). For a thousand years, China has been ruled by a cognitive meritocracy selected through the highly competitive imperial exams. The brightest young men became the scholar-officials who ruled the masses, amassed wealth, attracted multiple wives, and had more children. The current “gaokao” exams for university admission, taken by more than 10 million young Chinese per year, are just the updated version of these imperial exams—the route to educational, occupation, financial, and marital success. With the relaxation of the one-child policy, wealthier couples can now pay a “social fostering fee” (shehui fuyangfei) to have an extra child, restoring China’s traditional link between intelligence, education, wealth, and reproductive success. Chinese eugenics will quickly become even more effective, given its massive investment in genomic research on human mental and physical traits. BGI-Shenzhen employs more than 4,000 researchers. It has far more “next-generation” DNA sequencers that anywhere else in the world, and is sequencing more than 50,000 genomes per year. It recently acquired the California firm Complete Genomics to become a major rival to Illumina. The BGI Cognitive Genomics Project is currently doing whole-genome sequencing of 1,000 veryhigh-IQ people around the world, hunting for sets of sets of IQ-predicting alleles. I know because I recently contributed my DNA to the project, not fully understanding the implications. These IQ gene-sets will be found eventually—but will probably be used mostly in China, for China. Potentially, the results would allow all Chinese couples to maximize the intelligence of their offspring by selecting among their own fertilized eggs for the one or two that include the highest likelihood of the highest intelligence. Given the Mendelian genetic lottery, the kids produced by any one couple typically differ by 5 to 15 IQ points. So this method of “preimplantation embryo selection” might allow IQ within every Chinese family to increase by 5 to 15 IQ points per generation. After a couple of generations, it would be game over for Western global competitiveness. There is unusually close cooperation in China between government, academia, medicine, education, media, parents, and consumerism in promoting a utopian Han ethno-state. Given what I understand of evolutionary behavior genetics, I expect—and hope—that they will succeed. The welfare and happiness of the world’s most populous country depends upon it. My real worry is the Western response. The most likely response, given Euro-American ideological biases, would be a bioethical panic that leads to criticism of Chinese population policy with
the same self-righteous hypocrisy that we have shown in criticizing various Chinese socio-cultural policies. But the global stakes are too high for us to act that stupidly and short-sightedly. A more mature response would be based on mutual civilizational respect, asking—what can we learn from what the Chinese are doing, how can we help them, and how can they help us to keep up as they create their brave new world? …
